We make art,

Because we ourselves are a work of art. 

Art, for me, is about obtaining that peace and joy

That is so hard to find in this world today.

When i paint,

Draw,

Or make pots

A sense of relaxation envelops me; 

That is what i think is the most essential part of a skill, enjoying it. 

Yet, through all that joy 

There are many aesthetics involved in creating.

When creating a work of art

One

Should have the knowledge and the skill that is required; 

Because the work is not just for the artist, but for the viewer, too. 

The artist should be able to convey his intents and meanings 

So as not to confuse, but to

Enthrall and entertain.

My goal in my art is to make the viewer think 

And be involved 

And not just on the outside looking in.

Beauty is pleasurable, but thought is essential.
